ProfileMcGregor Construction 2000 Ltd. provides professional design, supply and installation of electrical transmission lines, substations and distribution systems. McGregor crews erected thousands of miles of multi-cross arm telephone lines that supplied communication to the prairie provinces in the early part of the century. Once telephone construction began to subside in the 1920’s, the Company diversified into transmission and distribution systems for electrical energy. Many communities in Alberta were changing their power sources from locally powered coal generators to the more efficient hydro-electric generators located in Calgary.
